About Sabiá Mapacho

Sabiá, popularly known as a rope tobacco, is a variation of the famed Nicotiana rustica. It’s become a prevalent ingredient in natural medicine products, especially those used by shamans, curanderos, and Pajés (healers), as this tobacco variation makes for potent concoctions, mainly Rapé.

Sabiá is a type of Brazilian bird that gave its name to this variety.

According to shamanic culture, this plant can offer great healing powers for both the spirit and the physical body and is therefore often used in sacred ceremonies and indigenous rituals of healing.

I sell this unprocessed tobacco in pieces and in powder form. the powder is finely milled to approximately 100 mesh powder. It’s air-dried, powdered, and sieved for best results.
