Color Difference, Sustainable
When this wood was cut down into pieces and dried it was done in light or dark conditions which gives the wood its final color. It is the oxidizing process in the different conditions that create different “chemical” reactions in the wood that determines its final color. The wood these Tepis are made from comes from demolished houses in the south of Brazil. Parts of furniture, beds, and roofs were salvaged cut again, and made to use for you.
